At Franconia Elementary School in Montgomery County, PA, the visit was carefully organized by Joan Shellenberger, reading specialist. A salad spread was featured at noon for the faculty. Jennifer Kling took these pictures during the assembly. Here is an elementary student participating in the Poetry Troupe. |
| The principal, Joe Mraz, was a super good sport as he “volunteered” to catch the chicken pox. |

In honor of
Dr. Seuss's birthday, I did an author visit at Villa Victoria Academy, a
Catholic School for children in Ewing, New Jersey. I was delighted to find
my audience dressed as characters in children's books. Here is the daring,
adventuresome Madeline... straight from the Streets of Paris., and the
timeless tale of Ludwig Bemelmans! |
