New Castle Elementary is another Virginia Beach school with many children of military service personnel. Here three first graders were eager to show me Jump Jill Jump, a reading text I did for Houghton Mifflin when I first started writing children's books.  The artist, Renee Williams Andriani, did the illustrations for my new book, This School Year Will be the BEST!, due out in July, 2010.
